Role
XetHub is looking for its first product manager: a self-motivated and technical individual who’s excited to roll up their sleeves to define, shepherd, and ship features to enable collaboration at scale. This role will report directly to the Head of Product.
You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end definition and execution of flagship features in partnership with design, marketing, and engineering. You’ll execute at a fast pace with direct impact on our product strategy, with both an outward focus on developer experience and an inward focus on program management; constantly prioritizing, anticipating risks, and ensuring frequent and clear communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Deeply understand and prioritize customer issues and opportunities in the context of both company strategy and external feedback.
Work cross-functionally across design, marketing, and engineering to validate approaches and drive alignment.
Ensure the team is working on the right things and has the necessary context and specifications to deliver them effectively. This can include tasks like backlog pruning, running standup, and other activities to support agile development.
Support and drive building, testing, and releasing prioritized features.
Analyze product data to understand and optimize existing product performance and to inspire ideas for new opportunities.
Collaborate with, and support, key internal and external stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications
2+ years working on technology-powered products as a product manager.
Comfort with speaking to users and clients to understand their needs and pain points.
Technical skills (all of us write code) and experience with developer tools.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in startup environments (smaller teams, wearing many hats, high trust, comfortable with ambiguity).
Experience with machine learning or data science development workflows.
Familiarity with GitHub, Notion, Figma, and Linear.
